Departing from the hotel, we drive to the west of
Antalya and arrive at the ancient Lycian City and
National Park and visit the Olympos Antique City,
Pirates bay and the ruins. Continue to Cirali (Chimaera)
where according to mythology, the Lycian hero
Bellerephon, mounted his winged horse Pegasus and
slew the fire-breathing monster, Chimaera. Gas
which seeps from the earth stills burns brightly
at night. Then we will drive to Demre where we
will stop for a lunch break. After lunch, a visit
to the ancient Myra, rock tombs overlooking the
magnificent Roman theater. A visit to the St.
Nicholas Church is also included. During the 4th
Centuries BC, he was the Bishop of this
Mediterranean City and died here in 342. Every
December the Santa Claus Commemoration Ceremony
attracts many tourists who spends their Christmas
holiday on this sunny coast. Evening return back
to Antalya. Pick up and drop off at your hotel is
included in the tour.
