Cappadocia is a historical region located in the central Anatolian region of Turkey. It is famous for its unique rock formations, underground cities, and ancient cave dwellings, making it a popular tourist destination.
The region is known for its unusual geological formations, including “fairy chimneys,” tall cone-shaped rocks that have been eroded over time, and cave dwellings, carved into the soft volcanic rock by ancient peoples.
