Pamukkale, meaning “cotton castle” in Turkish, is a natural wonder located in the Denizli Province of southwestern Turkey. This site is known for its white travertine terraces that are formed by mineral-rich hot springs. In addition to the stunning natural beauty, It is also home to the ancient Greco-Roman city of Hierapolis, which was a popular spa destination in ancient times.
-Getting to Pamukkale
It is located about 20 km from the city of Denizli. The easiest way to get there is by flying into Denizli Cardak Airport and then taking a shuttle bus or taxi. If you are coming from Istanbul or other major cities in Turkey, there are also bus and train options available. Once you arrive in Pamukkale, there are several transportation options for getting around, including buses, taxis, and rental cars.

The best time is during the spring (April-June) or fall (September-November) when the weather is mild and comfortable. Summer can be very hot, with temperatures reaching up to 40°C, while winter can be rainy and cold.
