The Temple of Artemis, also known as the Artemision, was a large ancient Greek temple dedicated to the goddess Artemis. It was considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and was located in the ancient city of Ephesus, near modern-day Selcuk in Turkey. The temple was an important center of worship and a site of pilgrimage for the ancient Greeks, and it was also a hub of economic activity and cultural exchange. Today, only a few ruins of the temple remain, including a single reconstructed column and some fragments of the foundation.
